  1. Create impediments for stories

    I'd like to be able to create impediments for the current stories on the scrum board, so I can tell if there's something going wrong with the story.

  2. Allow users stories to span more than one sprint

    Users stories can be assigned to a sprint, but not tasks. Sometimes one user story has 2 tasks, but only one gets done in the sprint. My only option is to move the entire user story to the next sprint (including the completed task), so I lose my statistics on velocity for work accomplished and velocity for the previous sprint.

    The only good workaround is to build a user story for every single task and actually use Epics to group them together. But that just makes a task a pointless extra step.

  3. More granularity to Slack integrations

    Thanks for the slack integration. We'd like greater control and granularity to what is pushed to slack. "Updates" is far too open. We'd like only updates in moving status. Or only comment updates. Or only re-assigns of issues, etc. This level of granularity would better allow us to control the amount of chatter in channels from Yodiz. Today, these are far too chatty in Slack with just something as simple as "Updates" enabled.

  4. Allow the filtering of the backlog/issue tracker excluding a particular tag

    I have hundreds of issues in my issue tracker - currently I can find no way to apply a tag to a small number of items and then remove these from view using a tag filter.

    Something like "NOT #example" or similar would be good, as it then follows conventions in SQL Server

  5. Ability to add your own templates to suit your needs

    I would like the ability to add new templates for user stories, epics, issues etc. Currently there are a few template options but there is no way to customise them or add new ones.

    Hi,
    Due to some other major priorities, especially migration track to our new interfaces “Yodiz Reloaded” currently available as “Beta”, we couldn’t focus on such features.
    However, we are almost done with the migration track.
    It is our priority to offer Eclipse integration and we hope that We can start work on it during March-2015.

    We are planning to support this feature as default option, for the time being as work around, you can add custom field to user story to keep effort log track if need too.

  8. Add numerical priorities, and allow sorting.

    Allow numerical priorities, say 0-100, and allow sorting on the sprint board by priority.

    This will allow the developers to manage their tasks better, and focus on those with highest priorities, which would be especially useful if a sprint is running behind!

  9. improve github integration

    A few ways yodiz could improve its github integration to bring it more in line with other github integrations I've seen:

    • Currently yodiz writes only plain text info to the commit log on linked commits. It would be a lot more helpful if these were actual links to the commits, files, and repo involved.
    • It would be much better if we could use the special notation (@T123) in not just commits, but pull request and branch names as well to automatically associate them with an issue as well. It is a fairly common practice for a pull request to represent…

  10. Drag and drop US in flexboard doestn work with "done" column

    If i drag US and put it to done column, system will start to process this action but will not finish, US is in column done, but without status done and after refresh flexboard move this US to first column type - in progress. Its US with tasks. If i use select from US card and choose done, it will change all tasks status to done and US will be also done - and thats what we need with d&d function.

    If d&d works like this, me and at least two teams will be really happy and it will prevent…

  11. Test Case Management Tool Integration with Yodiz

    I would like to know if Yodiz has integration with any Test Case Management tool. Our company uses Yodiz for project tracking but we as QA team would like to have a Test Case repository where we can have linkage to issues and user stories in Yodiz. Let me know if there's any third party Test Case Management Tool which successfully integrates with Yodiz.

    Yes it is important next step for Yodiz to integrate with some Test Case Management Tool. We are currently evaluating different tools with open API to integrate with.

  13. Tighter integration with SVN/Git

    It would be great if your tool could integrate even tighter with tools such as SVN and Git. For example so that one could look at changesets or view file source directly from within your app.

  15. allow the same sprint for more projects

    What if a team is involved in more than one project and wants to share a sprint? I don't think the tool allows that. Why? As a workaround I have to duplicate the same sprint for each project but it is not "the same" sprint, and moreover it is a little frustrating.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the feedback.

    Due to security and simplification reasons, we isolated projects, meaning each project has it’s own backlog and sprints.

    Now adding the possibility of sharing sprint would essentially means that, users from one project could be responsible of items from other project. We have to analyze impacts on UI etc of opening up the sharing.

    As a work around for now, perhaps you can add members from one project to another and vice versa, then they would be able to see both projects and perhaps need of duplication of sprint goes away.

    Meanwhile, as said, we will analyze the impact of possibility of sharing sprints between projects.

  16. Enter a linked bug while viewing a TK or US

    We link requirements and test plans into user stories and tasks. It would be very convenient to be able to add a linked BG while viewing a task or user story. Currently it requires a different window to add the BG and then a second step to search/link it from US or TK view.

  17. Export all user stories in backlog as PDF

    Current "Export as CSV" is nice but far from perfect as the User Story descriptions are dumped in one big unformatted block and without attachments/screenshots.

  18. Better advance search option. Away to add "exclusions"

    i.e.

    If I search for "sampleText" it returns 1000 results. But these results are too big to browse to.

    As a user, I would like to search for this value "sampleText" and exclude this value "exclusionText" from the results/search.

  19. add the ability merge duplicate bugs or user stories

    Have the ability to select several user stories, bugs, etc and merge them or have the ability to mark other user stories as duplicates and point to the one that will be used to track progress.

  20. Provide Integration with Glip

    We use Glip at our organization as a team collaboration tool. Would be great if Yodiz has integration with Glip similar to how integration for Slack exists right now
