  1. Migrating from JIRA

Hi. I'm moving my company away from jira an looking for alternatives. I've looked at yourapp and got some feedback for you

    1. No sub-task creation is featured. This is a major problem for my team, since we always use subtasks and log our works on them.

    2. No work-logs. There is logging effort and telling how much time you've spent on it, but i dont think thats an efficient way to do it. Youshould let us log actual work with required description with it.

    3. UI is very complicated. Jira was really simple, also Asana is simple. Your application is to colorful…

  2. Bottom toolbar doesn't stay open

I like using the bottom toolbar (the one you open with the small arrow in the bottom right of the screen), but it doesn't stay open from page-to-page. I wish it was "sticky" and remembered I had it open on the last page.

  3. Add top navigation to issue board page as difficult to navigate to other tabs under issue tracker

Adding top navigation will make it easier to navigate around the issue tracker tabs. Currently it is very difficult to navigate to other tabs under issue tracker when using the issue board as you have to select Scrum board, for example, to bring up the top navigation bar to then navigate where you need to

  5. Make the details box in a user story less retardedly small!

It's frigging tiny! You allocate far more screen space to miscellaneous custom fields than to the actual details of the story, which is surely the most important thing about the story - what you're actually doing....

    Hi,

Area of details box is now increased to reasonable level on pop-up and full page views.
Just as side note: In near future, we plan to make it resize-able

  6. auto follow on action

We're having a little bit of trouble finding a good process for managing issues. The biggest problem is it's hard to get updates about the progress of a ticket. There is a follow feature but it's very hidden in the interface, and you have to remember to follow.

What we'd love to see is that if you interact with an issue, you automatically become a follower. It'd make much more sense to get notified more and then have to unfollow something you're not interested in to not be notified at all about something.

    Our process flow is typically:
    1.) Identify…

  7. Would like to see a dashboard report or any report that shows stories by Component

Projects have stories that belong to components. I need to see on a project (and sprint), what stories are going on per component. In addition, would be good to add the component column to the Backlog screen as well.

  8. Bug Fix: Search and pagination in the backlog

At the moment, if you go to the backlog and change pages (lets say you go to page 2) and then search for a user story, even if the stories exist the backlog displays no results or the add a user story button.

I think its trying to apply the pagination even thou the user just made a new search and the page index should be reset back to the first page of his new search.

  10. Mixed experience with Yodiz

    Hi guys,

I used Yodiz for a few weeks now and there are things that I really like and a few things that are really killing me.

What I really like is the Product Backlog management in particular the availability of Epics, User Stories and tasks which are linked to each other. This was the main reason for me to trial Yodiz because I couldn't find any other reasonable priced tool that does that very well.

The performance issue is however a problem I can not overcome. Any button I click requires a lot of patience to wait for the…

  12. sprint's hours capacity?

Be able to track the number of available hour we have during the current sprint, that way we can see if we are overloading a given programmer o not.

    Hi Martin,

This is already implemented, when you create new sprint or Edit existing sprint, you can view the total available hours for sprint and each resource.
You can manually add the users to sprint resources. This will give you more precise values for estimated, spent and left hours.

Please check our recent release update for more info.

    Best Regards,
    Yodiz Support Team

  13. Availability of developers...

Record of the availability or not of a given developer, with this, we can keep track of the number of developer we count of during the current sprint, and in consequence we can adjust the number of total available hour for the sprint.

  14. Make it easier to work across projects

I know you are implementing features soon to make it easier to see tasks across various projects (we don't work on time estimation so at the moment the tasks don't show up for us) but I was wondering if you could implement company-wide chat functionality.

We are a very small company so it would be useful if we could speak with everyone on the chat interface, rather than just people on that particular project.

  15. Fix text or functionality on step 3 of project setup

Currently the text on the bottom of the page says "Don't want to invite now? Leave empty." but doing so will give the error "Email is required".
It is not immediately obvious how to proceed from here.

Note that this is the second screen a new user is presented with (bad first impression).

  17. Represent the available plan discounts more clearly

    Folks,

I'm looking to upgrade beyond the free plan to 5 users. At your normal price that should come to $25/month. If I pay for the year, upfront, you discount 2 months for a total of $250, that works. Your 6 month up front option states a discount of 1 month, which leaves 5mo x $25 = $125. However, the "You will pay", blue box is showing me $138. I take that to mean that the discount represented is for an entire year, not the payment interval. I found that confusing, if not misleading. It'd be nice if you made…

  18. hide "Project Settings" visible for normal user

Why is "Project Settings" visible to me, when I don't have the permission to manage the project settings? Wouldn't it be much more user-friendly to not display links to the pages i don't have permission to access to altogether?

  20. Blocked User Story as a different colour?

It looks like a "blocked" user story appears as the same colour as a "new" story in the sprint backlog. Any chance that this could be changed so that they can be easily distinguished?
