  1. Allow Project Admins to create custom Task States

    Our development cycle means a task is not complete unless it has been tested. It'd be really great to add extra status to a task.
    At the moment you have New, In Progress and Done - but it would be nice to add Implemented.

  2. surface an API for integration with other software

    It would be nice to have an API for integration. Even better, something that could use another API and issue web requests to update Yodiz via JSON... such as for Zendesk http://developer.zendesk.com/documentation/rest_api/introduction.html But I'm sure there are others people might want.

  3. Make your application's load time and response time faster.

    Your application is great. But it takes 9s to load a page from scratch and about half that if its not from scratch...

    There is lots of room for improvements you can do, some are:

    Minification for your js, configure caching, use sprites, optimize your images, bundle styles and js, etc.

    Please, please, please... make it faster... I really love your product but it hurts to see new features added when the ones already in place are not performing at its best.

    We have made number of improvements in different areas and hopefully performance is good now at major parts of the application.

    Yodiz works best at Firefox and Chrome.

  4. add dependencies to tasks

    If tasks can depend on each other, you can auto-organize them and calculate the actual estimated time of completion for the user story and highlight critical paths.

    As we adopted pair programming it would be nice if we could select/assign more than one user to a task (similar to Agilefant).

  6. add full text search

    The search toolbox (bottom right) seems to perform a search only across the tasks and issues 'Title' field. It would be handy to add an option to search through the 'Comments' and/or 'Details' fields.

  7. Speed up UI

    It would be great to have inline editing instead of loading a new page every time an epic or story needs to be edited. Speeding up load times would also be great!

    We have implemented number of improvements that were suggested in this thread and now the ScrumBoard Drag n Drop experience is better and performance is improved too, along with Velocity calculations and other things.

    Hopefully, you will enjoy the new ScrumBoard and other improved functionality at Yodiz.

  8. Add release roadmap so that all sprints of a release can be presented along a timeline

    The individual sprints are then act as milestones and should show percentage completion. The whole idea is to view the progress of the whole project, not just for the individual sprint.
    With data from that release progress, Release Burndown Chart should be provided as well

  9. Allow for export of all issues across all projects

    I need the ability to see all issues for all projects on a daily basis and create a report. It would make it much easier to be able to select all projects and the issues for export. Right now you have to go to each project and do an export which is time consuming.

    This feature is now available, from settings icon on right corner at Issue Tracker, you can select export CSV and there you can select one or multiple projects for export.

  11. Issues: Give user the ability to choose which fields to export and include the Closed Date

    I need the ability to report on daily issue closures across all projects and export the results. There is no easy way to do this right now except to go into each project and filter for the date, then export. In the export, I do not get the closed date.

    The ideal process would be to

    1. View all issues across all projects
    2. Choose which columns to display
    3. Be able to export the data/columns you need (including the closed date)

  12. to include the possibility to use story point instead of hours

    using hours is not really accurate sometimes I prefer user story points to estimate the backlog will be nice if it could be possible

  15. add the ability to interact via email

    Have the ability to create a ticket or reply to an email to post a comment, etc via email. That way, (PMs) specifically can interact just by replying to an email.

  16. Bulk edit stories and tasks

    Editing stories and tasks one by one is time-consuming. Bulk editing would allow selecting a set of stories and assign an owner, set component, etc.. in a single operation.

  17. Make it possible to create dropdown lists for custom fields

    When creating a custom field, for example "product area" it would be nice to be able to create a list of accepted input, that will be a "drop down" menu in the edit interface for a user story.

  18. Create a way to export tasks to csv or PDF

    This would help a lot in streamlining the creation of a physical scrum board.
    The best thing would be to export the entire scrum board (US+tasks). Some tools allow exporting to a preformatted PDF which is a very accessible way to export all the data into physical form.

  20. implement an auto refresh on the issue tracker.

    With numerous team members adding/fixing issues have the issue tracker to auto refresh would help manage these in terms of being able to clearly see what has been added/resolved without forcing refresh.
