Make the Project Dashboard customizable
The dashboard now contains more reports but a lot of them are not always interesting, depending on the sprint or project. I would like to hide reports/gauges for certain projects so I see the most relevant information in 1 view.

Increase the drag & drop threshold a bit
First off, I'm a fan of Yodiz. I've been using it for a personal project as a one-man scrumteam tool and it's working great for me. With one exception. I use a Wacom pen instead of a mouse (better for my arm) and it's nearly impossible to open the drop-down menu on a user-story without accidentally dragging it a pixel or two, which then rerenders the position of the US and reloads that part of the page - it gets pretty frustrating after a while. Could you increase the drag & drop threshold a bit?

See the name of the epic in the user story when you are using a Scrum-ban board
We are using the new scrum-ban board in some departments of our company. With the scrum-ban you usually create more than one user story for some large tasks instead of a user story with multiple subtasks.
We have the epics to "group" those user story but in the board you don't see that info and sometimes is very difficult to keep track of the status of the department and their goals.

Relative times seem to be always referencing GMT or some other timezone
I am seeing that all relative times for issues and stories always show a 5 hour difference. For example, if I create a new story or issue, it will say that it was created 5 hours ago. My timezone is Eastern time.

beta issues do not have an issue tracker per se
Hi,
I was just testing the functionality of the beta and one aspect is missing -- the issue tracker.
I added a bug (issue) to a user story (cool) and then removed the bug from the sprint. It basically disappears in beta, but is in the classic issue tracker.
We have a QA person that also uses the issue tracker quite a bit, so needs to use the classic view for this purpose.
1 voteHi,
New Yodiz migration is fully completed and now you have robust issue tracker, with listing view as well. Please try and do let us know your feedback.

Be able to archive epics
In large projects you should be able to archive old epics (or close them like old sprints).
Another way could be to add a filter so you can filter out the implemented epics.

I've spent the last 30 minutes trying to find the answer to a very simple question. How do I create a new project? So far, it's useless.
Don't suck? Answer questions with answers that relate to the questions asked? I'd just like to know how to create a new project. Is this answer anywhere?
1 voteHi,
Sorry for the trouble, our help documentation is going to be updated soon with missing use cases details. Please check http://help.yodiz.com for future reference.
For now to create project, just click on the project drop down on trop right corner, next to settings icon and user profile picture. “Add Project” button is visible there.
If you are not Project Admin/Super Admin, you will not be able to create project.
We will add the help article relating to this question shortly to help.yodiz.com
For any questions, please drop us email at support@yodiz.com

Make the interface (specially the board) faster and more responsive
I really like Yodiz and I haven't found so far a software as good as yours, although I have tested dozens of them, but something that really bugs me is how slow the interface is, specially the board.
It would be really awesome if you could speed up the communication with the server, maybe by using something like NodeJS or something else over sockets. I think the time it takes for a round trip to the server is the problem why Yodiz keeps being a "slow" software.
I saw that someone has already complained about this and you guys said…
7 votesHi,

HTTPS Security is Needed
HTTPS Security is needed for those who do not want all their activity exposed over the internet. This is a must for most large clients and state, local municipalities, etc, etc...
1 voteHi,
HTTPS is now enabled.

Enable urls in comments
I often use a screen capture or record a video to show an idea for a story or to document a bug. I'd like to add a link to the screen shot or recording in comments and have the link be live and open up a new tab
4 votesOn Sprint Board, Issue Tracker and Backlog, if you use comment widget it has rich text support and can easily create links now.

Sum the estimated effort left for tasks on the task board
It would be great to have the number of estimated hours left being summed for all tasks on the task board, and for this work across all swimlanes.
So for example, the new and in progress swimlanes, would contain a sum of the effort remaining for each lane. This would also take into account any filters, such as user.
I think this feature would set yodiz above azendoo, asana etc, as so many people end up using excel for tasks to be able to perform these kind of summaries.

Please allow to order tasks by order of importance.
Please allow to order tasks by order of importance.
Currently tasks are updated accordingly to the latest modification.
It would be way more useful if a user would be able to order them in any way he likes to (it will help to differentiate tasks with most and least priority).

Send out notification emails to Followers list for an issue.
Send out notification emails to all the people marked in follower list for an issue. Currently Yodiz sends out email only to the assignee.

Too many new tabs created!
I don't think you need to open a new tab every time I click on an issue or story detailed view. Before long I end up having too many Yodiz tabs open.

I can't order tasks, because they are ordered automatically based on time when it was lastly modified.
In the Issue Tracker, in New section i have 10+ tasks and i wanna order them from the most important to the least important, but i can't because every time i refresh it they get ordered by TIME when it was lastly modified. I believe it's a huge mistake and is totally NOT important to even indicate the time when it was lastly modified. Follow Lean Methodology, don't add unneeded things. The rest is great.
5 votesHi,
At new Yodiz, you can reorder tasks on Scrum boad. Please check out more details at

Save Filters
In bugzilla we can save off common searches. We would like to be able to do that with Yodiz filters.

Add the ability to group issues by priority.
We do this now with bugzilla and cannot figure out how to do with Yodiz. We could add a custom field, but because they do not have a default value or a selection list that makes it difficult. We want to be able to group them into priorities such as P1, P2, P3 ... P5 and then our work list is determined by that. P1 must be in beta, P2 must be in release, etc.
We have not found a good way to do this in Yodiz. Please consider adding priority so issues can be ordered by that.

Push changes to client for better real-time collaboration
One feature I think is missing is live updates to the UI, meaning that if myself and a co-worker both have the same screen open at the same time, and I make an edit... that change should be pushed to my co-workers browser without them requiring to manually refresh the page. (Asana does this quite well as a model to try and emulate).
4 votesYodiz boards have “Realtime” push support, so any changes made by User A, will be reflect in User B screen in realtime without any need of refresh.
