Allow Project Admins to create custom Task States
Our development cycle means a task is not complete unless it has been tested. It'd be really great to add extra status to a task.
At the moment you have New, In Progress and Done - but it would be nice to add Implemented.78 votesHi,
Full custom status support is already in place, please http://yodiz.com/help/what-is-the-status-set/Best Regards,

Make the "Details" field for a story bigger
When you view a story by clicking on its name, the Details field is really small. So if you have a big story description it is really troublesome to read it and get an overview. Even if you click "View Details" and view the detailed version of the story you still have to scroll up and down and you don't see the borders of the field, so you might be mislead that you see the whole discription, while you actually see just a part of it.
One possiblity would be to make it possible to drag the corner of this…
1 voteThanks for the feedback, Details have been extended. We will in future try to make it re-sizable.

Add validator field for issues
It is unusual to validate your own bugs. It would be awesome to add a validator field that allows to assign the bug to anybody on the project. By default it should be blank

add a "Move" option to tasks in the Kanban view
It often happens that I need to move a task from one user story to another (for instance when a whole user story emerges out of something we thought would be simple). Right now it's quite onerous to move a task to another user story -- I count 7 clicks to go into the task detail, click the plus button (which btw doesn't give the affordance of being a "change user story" button), find the user story from a huge list, select it, save the task, etc.
Instead there should be a simple dropdown menu item on the task saying…

Bugs per day/week/month
Would like to see a line chart that shows bugs which are closed per day, week, or month over a given period.
Knowing how many bugs that the organization has closed historically can help plan how fast one is going to be able to make it through existing bug list.
1 voteThere is widget “Issue Trend Report” and you can add that to Dashboard to get these statistics.

Chat Function
The one thing that would make this app even better is if there was a chat or Instant Message option that team members could use while logged into the app. This would help team members review and discuss stories and tasks amongst themselves. I have seen this on other agile sites and this is the one thing lacking here. Thanks!
1 voteWe integrate with Chat services like Slack.

don't do upgrades and maintenance to the site during regular office hours in Europe
This week, it feels like Yodiz has been down more than up when we needed to use it during regular office hours here in Norway. It's probably not the case, but a few minutes of downtime here and there makes a big impact when it happens during our sprint planning.

fix Move To Sprint on the Agile Tasks board
Right now if I want to move a user story to a different sprint on the agile tasks board, I open the dropdown next to the user story and select Move To Sprint. The page then refreshes and snaps me to the top; then I have to go back to the user story, and finally I can now drop the dropdown and select an actual sprint to move it to. This is very disjointed, and at first I just could not figure out how to move stories from one sprint to the next.
This menu option should instead pop up…

add a mass-move interface to the Issues board
When a sprint ends and we have some open bugs remaining, I need to mass-move them to the new sprint. Right now I have to do them one-by-one on the issues board; there should be an interface where I could check multiple bugs and move them all at once.
1 voteHi,
Please use planning board from left menu and select “ISSUES”. Then you can choose source and target sprints on both sides and move the bugs. Please note that: We are currently in process of improving the UI of planning board.

filter backlog on planning board
Problem: I am trying to add US from my backlog to the Release but my backlog has a lot of stories that are already in the release and I cant make decisions because I dont know what is already planned for the release and what is not
I suggest you either:
- Filter the backlog when a release is selected to only show items that are NOT in a release.
or
- Have an indicator that they are already planned for a release
This applies to the backlog page as well. Knowing which are planned for a release already would really help

Task Comment Highlight
I suggested that if the tasks were commented. The task's dialog should be some indicators.
Also, I would like to have an option if my name was used in comment (@NAME), I can receive an email or other alarms.

Allow to change the user story priority per drag&drop in Planning Board
As a new user to yodiz, while using the planning board and according the mouse icon when you grabbed a story, I expected that it's possible to sort/change the priority of the stories within a sprint. But currently it's not possible. Result: confused user.

Show amount of comments in backlog
As a product owner, I want to be able to view the amount of comments on a backlog item, so that I can differ between user stories with or without comments.

Left side planning board lists should exclude content already in right side list
The planning board process is made quite cumbersome because the left hand list includes items that are in the right side list. This means its impossible to quickly view what left side list content remains unallocated

Planning board doesn't restore last selections
Each time the 'planning board' view is opened the left list and right list selections are null. Each time you have to select the required backlog, release or sprint. This is ponderous.

Bug - Individual Off Hours Not Saved in Sprint Manager
Each person's individual off hours are not saved. During planning, each person may have their own time off or vacation scheduled, but after you enter each person's off hours and re-enter the Sprint Manager window it is reset to the same number for everyone. The available hours remains correct, but the off hours are not correct after saving. It should not be reset to the last person entered.
1 voteHi,
This issue is now resolved and Sprint Manager functionality working fine for off hours.
