Hi,
If you need to change order for many stories and want to use drag n drop. We recommend to use “Planning Board”. At planning board, open Sprint panel and then reorder user stories with drag n drop. It would be faster way then ordering stories with numbers at Sprint Board.
Due to nature and board layout of Sprint board, it is not convenient to offer drag n drop to order stories, especially if your sprint layout is “Scrum”. If you use your Board as ScrumBan/Kanban at Sprint, then you can reorder stories using drag n drop and also then your user stories would swim across lanes. But remember in that case you will see tasks at user story widget.
