create better organization for the backlog
I'd like to be able to see Sprint and Release columns in the backlog list. This way I could find/view backlog items that weren't in either a Sprint or a Release. Also, perhaps an "Icebox" for stories that want to be tracked but are on the "back burner."
Hi,
Most of items are now available to Yodiz Reloaded Beta, Planning board has multiple panels to view at a glance, Product backlog, Sprint, and release backlogs. Also, at Product Backlog, you can customize columns to view the information you need.

In today's release update, we introduced filters based on user story status in Product Backlog. So if you select "Accepted" user stories, now you can view in which sprint and release they were done too. The "Unscheduled" status means all the user stories that are not part of any sprint (kind of default behavior).
In next 2-3 weeks we will add sorting, EPICs and ICED user stories in Product Backlog. Right now, we need to focus on completing better release estimation/tracking and Sprint Planning features.

This is a great start thanks! I would definitely like a way to either sort or filter by release and epic (not together, but independently).

I'd appreciate the ability to see a columns, sorting, filtering and grouping by Epics and components as well - since that is what we're using to associate User Stories with each other.

We've been with Pivotal for about 8 months... there have been numerous complaints and requests on their support site for serious flaws in their functionality (for us). For a long time, they didn't even respond. After weeks... their response was, finally, "we're hiring more developers... we'll consider your suggestions sometime...."
So... thanks for being responsive! A welcome change.

Hi,
In this week release (July 26/27) update, we are introducing status filter in Backlog, so you can filter user stories by status (New, In progress, Done, Accepted).
Sprint and release columns will be introduced in next week release, as we want to implement some flexibility so customers can choose when to display those columns.
Icebox idea is good and it might be coming in next release too.
